Would love to know what the letter says. It was written to my father and want to see if there is any information about people or places living anywhere.
Hopefully it contains info about Bialystok where my father was from.

This letter is from Hersz Palter it Tel Aviv who is attempting to renew the (written) connection from a few years back. He's apparently writing to Meir - but I'm not sure of the name.
The cousin moved from Poland to Israel in 1950 and lost M's address.

"I have here in Israel one daughter who is married. We all live together. After so many hard times we have finally achieved[?] our goal ----- [maybe the world is to get settled] in Israel. We make a bit of a living, but even when the situation is difficult a satisfied life! I remember still from Poland, you wrote me that Nachman's son should be coming to America from Italy but it's a long time since I believe [assume] he's been in America for a long time. I'm sending you at the same time a photograph of myself and I believe you'll surely recognize me. I have put myself in contact with the company "Chember[sic] of Commerce" so they should help me find your address and so hope my letter will get to you. We send you all warm greeting, waiting for your reply. You cousin Israel.

According to my documents that I [had made for me?] in the war time in Poland my name is now Hersh Palter [something I can't make out about reasons ] from before, my name is Israel.
