This correspondence on United Disner Benevolent Ass'n letterhead is dated January 21, 1937 and is likely to or from my ancestor Nathan Yomin. I would love a translation.

Dear daughter Matlie and your dear children and husband, may you all be well. I got your letter already a few days ago. I wasn't in a hurry to answer because I think one should begin when he finishes the season in school, God willing, in the summer. I knew for certain the child would want to learn Yiddishkayt. All American children are believers and enjoy Yiddishkayt. The problem is only with the fathers and the mothers. The "pork eaters" who don't want to make their children into Jews.
