I would very grateful if someone could translate this document concerning my great-grandfather Chemje Krys and his daughter Ita.

Attestation

Hereby I declare that my daughter, Ita Krys, was raised by paternal uncle Szymon Makowski because I, being in a crytical situation, could not support her. Because Szymon Makowski emigrated to Belgium, and as a citizen of that country, is bringing his wife, Hunda Makowska, so that my daughter remains without care, as her mother has died and I have no means to support her. So, the wife of Szymon Makowski, Hunda Makowski, wants and desires to take her with her in order to continue taking care of her there. For my part (translation of natomiast may mean however too), I, as a father of Ita Kryz, grant permission to Hunda Makowska to take my daughter with her to Belgium and to continue taking care of her.

Below is the writing of an official, a notary public, I presume, who is verifying the authenticity of the signature. The script is difficult to decipher and may not be as important as the text above. It does say that Chemja is the son of Moszek Krys. If you believe there is something important in the notary's text, you may need better eyes that mine to decipher that writing.
