10/27/2021 5:05 PM This is not in Hungarian. (I think it's in one of the Slavic languages, maybe Slovak?) But whatever language it turns out to be, I have a prediction for what it says: "given as a memento" or some variation thereof.

The second line is two names, both diminutives: Sarika Reszike. I would guess the "full" names to go with those as Sarah and Theresa.
10/27/2021 6:10 PM Hello Mordechai,

To break the two names down further (of two separate individuals), they would be Sari(ka) and Reszi(ke). Those are both Hungarian names, and the use of the diminutive forms is commonly done. It is a less formal and more familiar usage.

This is similar to calling someone Susie instead of Susan or using Rosie instead of Rose.

Also, the name Reszi is probably the secular/Hungarian version of the Yiddish name Reisel.

Jo
