It came to pass in the city of Lublin on the 11th of August 1828 at 10:00 AM that there appeared [before us] the Jew Szymon Fiszel Lubliner, a laborer, age 21, residing here in Lublin, in the presence of witnesses Icek Leyb Brod, a baker, age 54, and Josef Neyman, salt merchant, age 39, residing here in Lublin, and showed us a child of male gender, stating that he was born here in Lublin on the 8th of August of the current year at 6:00 PM to his wife Ruchla Leia Lubliner, age 21. At his circumcision, he was given the name Icek Lubliner. This document was read out to the petitioner and to the witnesses and it was duly signed by Josef Neyman, as Szymon Fiszel Lubliner and the witness Icek Leyb Brod do not know how to write.
