On  Response
10/26/2021 1:10 AM 31st March 1939 "Polna" Friday the eve of Passover
Written to dear brother Itzik and sister Hindeh, informing them of their father long, difficult illness. He's been laying in bed these 6 months, unnaturally so, in need of constant care he has also lost him memory and the family was exhausted. They did everything.
After the detailed description of the illness, the difficulty and the care, the writer warns brother Itzik not to be too upset, and informs him their father died on the 9th day of Nissan on Wednesday at daytime.

Mentions the Kadish. Sending warm regards, God will comfort us, and hoping for better news the future.

Comment
The letter is written immediately at the end of the Shiva - 7 day morning period. Shiva is stopped by holidays, in this case on the 14th day of Nissan which is the eve of Passover.
