15. Sierpc
It came to pass in Sierpc in the year 1826 on the 14th day of March at 7:00 AM that there appeared [before us] the Jew Zeinwel Szlama, day laborer, age 50, a resident of Sierpc, and, in the presence of the witnesses the Jews Zielko Hersz, a day laborer, age 70, and Hersz Lipman, a day laborer, age 60, both residents here in Sierpc, and showed us a child of male gender born here in Sierpc on the 7th of the current month at 5:00 AM to his wife Roza (née Szyman), age 40, to whom was given at his circumcision the name Szymon. This document was read out to the petitioner and the witnesses and signed by us. The people who came forward do not know how to write.
