Hello there,
I think this is the tombstone for Joseph Aaron Schecter, son of Isaac, who died on 25 Jan 1943. I'd very much appreciate a translation of as much as possible to English. Some of the image is obscured. Thank you.

10/3/2021 1:17 PM The top seven lines are a poem of praise; I will translate them for you if you'd like. The first line says that he passed away at a ripe old age.

The next two lines -- behind the greenery -- contain the relevant details:

YOSEF AHARON son of Reb Yitzchak Shechter

[he passed away] 19 Shevat 5703

The very last line contains the standard abbreviation: May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

=====================================================

This does, indeed, seem to be the person you believe it to me.

As always, 'Reb' is an honorific, and does not mean rabbi.

Even though part of the date is obscured, it is definitely a match for January 25th, 1943.

10/19/2021 9:17 AM The top part is a very nice engraving of the Tablets with the first ten letters of the Hebrew Alphabet denoting the ten Commandments.
1st line below the star is an abbreviation for here rests (or is buried)
2nd line: paraphrases from Torah Book of Vayikra (19:32) & the 5th Chapter of Avot Mishna 21:
A (Zaken) wise elder, (Sayba) 70 years & 7 days old
3rd Line paraphrases Tehilim (Psalms) 101:6: all of his days he walked with integrity (without external influences)
4th line paraphrases various sources in the Talmud & The Torah Book of Devorim 11:22): He clung to Holy Righteous Tzaddikim and was believed in following their wise guidance.
5th Line paraphrases Talmud Tractate Shabbos 23B: He honored his Rabbis all his life
6th Line paraphrases Torah, Devorim (6:5) Supported the poor with all his heart and resources.
7th Line paraphrases Samuel A (19:4): His good deeds will merit his righteous (eternal) rest
8th Line Direct quote from the Kal Moleh Rachamim the traditional prayer said at Funerals and Memorials":
He (his soul) will be resting under the wings of His Holy Shechina (G-d's Divine Presence)
9th Line: Day is obscured by Leaves- Month of Shevat 5703 which = is was in January 1943.

It is clear that the deceased was a very devout and Religious Jew of great faith who lived a pure life to be emulated.
10/19/2021 9:42 AM accidentally skipped the 2nd to last line which is his name
Yosef Aharon (Abbreviation for) son of Yitzchak Shechter.

Yosef in the Torah was Yaakov (Jacob's) 11th son.
Aharon was Moshe's (Moses's) older Brother the first Cohen in the Temple.
Yitzchak was the son of our Holy Forefather Avraham and the father of Yaakov.
