Left side:

Here lies the Chaver Reb Moshe son of the Chaver Reb Yitzchak

Lichtsenstein [sic]

He died 15 Iyar 5699

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

'Chaver' is a title that was bestowed in Germany upon members of the congregation or community who had devoted years of service to the congregation/community.

This image is harder to read; this is my best educated guess:

An eternal monument

in memory of the people [or: men] of our community who offered up their lives upon the altar of

love for the land of the their birth.

May their souls be bound up in the bond of life.

The German at the bottom reads: our comrades.
