It came to pass in the settlement of Praszka on the 8th of November 1901 at 11:00 AM that there appeared [before us] in person the Jew Szlama Józefowicz, a trader, age 34, and, in the presence of Icek Sieradzki, a trader, age 43, and Moryc Frajnd, a homeowner, age 35, […], all of them residing in Praszka, and showed us a child of male gender, stating that it had been born in Praszka on the 3rd of the present month and year at 9:00 AM to his legal wife Leja Sura (nee Abramowna), age 30. This child was, at a religious ceremony, given the name Lajzer. This document, after having been read out [to those present], was completed and signed.
