9/22/2021 4:23 PM	Hello Barbara, This is the stone of a female. It translates as follows: "Here lies Chana Rochel, Bas/(daughter of) Reb Abraham Avigdor, who died on the 18th day of the Hebrew month of Cheshvan (followed by the Hebrew year). **** The word "Reb" preceding the name of her father is used as a title of respect when using a given name(s) of a Jewish male, however it does NOT imply rabbi. "Chana Rochel" is her double given name. "Abraham Avigdor" is her father's double given name. Jo

9/22/2021 6:50 PM	CHANAH ROCHEL daughter of Reb Avraham Avigdor She passed away 18 Cheshvan 5703. ========================================== Again, 'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi. The 18th of Cheshvan of the year 5703 began at sunset on October 28th, 1942, and ended at sunset on the 29th.
