It came to pass in the settlement of Kock on the 28th of April 1885 at 2:00 PM that there appeared [before us] Dawid Wartownik, age 49, and Josef Gerszenborn [Herszenhorn?], age 75, synagogue sextons living in the settlement of Kock and stated that, on the 27th of April of the current year at 5:00 AM, there died in the settlement of Kock Tauba Felcman, age 18, resident of the settlement of Adamów, daughter of Josek and Mendla nee Zylgerman [Zylberman?]. Following eyewitness confirmation of the passing of Tauba Felcman, this document was read out to the petitioner and, as they are illiterate [in Russian], we alone have signed it.
