9/26/2021 3:21 PM No. 18 City of Ostrów
It came to pass in the city of Ostrów on the 13th/25th of May 1886 at 10:00 AM that, in the presence of the witnesses Berko Sztejn, private scribe, age 35, and Szlama Modrykamień, laborer, age 31, residing in the city of Ostrów in Houses No. 36 and 5, it was stated that, on the previous day at 6:00 PM, a religious marriage was concluded in the city of Ostrów between Srul Hersz DZBANEK, bachelor, age 20, born in the settlement of Wyszków, Pułtusk County, son of the living parents Wigdor and Gitla nee Malewana [?], resident of the settlement of Wyszków, living with his nephew in the city of Ostrów on Pułtuska Street, and Odes Bujnos, single, age 20, daughter of the late Szymcha Bujnos and the still-living Mariam Dwejra nee Aronson, a resident of Ostrów with rights of residency in the city of Ostrów and born there, living with her mother. This marriage was preceded by three banns announced in the Ostrów Jewish synagogue on the 12th, 19th and 26th of April of the current year. Consent for this union was given by the father of the groom and the mother of the bride. The newlyweds stated that they had not made any prenuptial agreement. This document, having been read out to those present was duly signed by the witnesses, the acting rabbi and by us, the groom’s father, the bride’s mother and the newlyweds being illiterate [in Russian].
