9/26/2021 5:52 PM Though this image looks clear enough, the fact is that there are some peculiar errors in the Hebrew and parts of it are hard to figure out. Do you know what you would expect it to say? Here's my best shot:

Here lies
An upstanding and decent man
[Baruch?] Shlomo Zalman
HaKohen, son of Jacob [misspelled if it is in fact Jacob?]
ROSMONT [??], died
on the Sabbath and laid to rest on
Sunday, the 3rd of Tammuz, [5]569 [1809].
May his houl be bound up in the bonds of life.

9/27/2021 1:56 PM Here lies
An upstanding and decent man
The honourable Mr. Shlomo Zalman
HaKohen son of Jacob
Hartmont died
on the Sabbath and buried on
Sunday the 23rd of Tammuz [5]469
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life

Discrepancy: the 23rd of Tammuz 5469 was on a Monday [July 1st 1709].
