It came to pass in the settlement of Kock on the 11th of April 1878 at 9:00 AM that there appeared [before us] the Jew Jankiel Ajzenman, tailor, age 20, a resident of the settlement of Kock, and, in the presence of Lejbka Feferman, age 57, and Dawid Wartownik, age 42, both synagogue sextons in the settlement of Kock, both residents of the settlement of Kock, and showed us a child of female gender and told us that it was born in the settlement of Kock on the 4th of April of the current year at 9:00 AM to his legal wife Golda (nee Poziomczyk), age 19. This child was given the name Masia. This document was signed by Lejbka Feferman, as the father and the other witness do not know how to write.
[Signed in Polish:] Lejbka Feferman
[Signed in Russian:] The Clerk of Civil Records [illegible signature]
