I would like the translation from Hebrew to English on this tombstone. Sarah and Morris Randell were my great grandparents.

Thank you!

SHALOM son of Reb Moshe

He passed away 6 Tishi 5704

==================================================

MOSHE son of Reb Layb

He passed away 19 Kislev 5697

====================================================

SARAH GITTEL daughter of Reb Chayim Mordechai

She passed away 15 Shvat 5702

There is a discrepancy between the Hebrew and the secular dates of death

The 15th of Shvat 5702, began at sunset on February 1st, 1942, and ended at sunset on February 2nd. The stone says March 2nd.

If the secular date of March 2nd is correct, then the Hebrew date should be the 13th or 14th of Adar, depending upon whether she died before or after sunset. Do you have her secular date of death from another source?

==================================================

For all three: 'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.
