Hello Rachel,

The Hebrew names are as follows:

"Reb Yechiel Michel, Ben/(son of) Reb Dov Behr"

**The word "Reb" is used as a title of respect preceding the given name(s) of the Jewish male, however, it does NOT imply rabbi.

It also indicates further down on the tombstone that he was 64 years old when he died on the Hebrew date of the 4th day of the Hebrew month of Tamuz (followed by the Hebrew year).

At the top of the stone, partly cut off, in the Jewish star, is the abbreviation for "here lies".

The complete Hebrew date of death was 4 Tamuz 5700.

His father's name, Dov Ber, are Hebrew and Yiddish, respectively, for "bear". Men with this name often -- but certainly not always -- have secular names similar to Bernard or Barry, etc.
