Unfortunately, the most relevant details have been destroyed.

Here is what I can make out.

The first four lines are an acrostic poem of praise, with the first letters spelling out her name, Esther.

An important woman, of many good deeds,

She sustained the hearts of the hungry with her bread,

With purity and honesty she educated her children to the Torah,

She was pleasing and modest in her good deeds.

Behold the woman of valor, fearing of G-d, Mrs.

ESTHER

[the daughter of our teacher?] _____ Yosef the Levite, may his memory be a blessing,

She passed away 7 T____ ______7 [?]. May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.

The details after her name are mainly missing. The first item might be an abbreviation meaning "the daughter of our teacher". Her father might have had a double Hebrew name, the second part of which was Yosef, or his name might simply have been Yosef, preceded by a title or description of some sort.

She died on the 7th day of a month beginning with the letter Tav, which might be Tamuz (a summer month) or Tishri (a fall month). The year might end in a 7.
