8/30/2021 9:47 AM To the best of my knowledge, the word נפל that appears on the first record means an abortus. They are describing a miscarriage, they could identify it was a female. This was neither a birth nor an infant.

The second record literally says: "[she] was born dead". The verb has the female declension.
8/30/2021 9:48 AM By the way, these are Hebrew texts, not Yiddish.

נפל - is pronounced "neffel" in this case.
