Here lies

An honest man, Reb YITZCHAK son of Reb Yaakov Krosno,

who went to his world [passed away] at 53 years of age.

He was born in the year 5620

and died 28 days to the month of Menachem Av 5673.

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

The year in which he was born, 5620, began at sunset on September 27th, 1859, and ended at sunset on September 16th, 1860.

The month in which he died, Menachem Av, also has the shorter name of Av. The 28th of Menachem Av of the year 5673 began at sunset on August 30th, 1913, and ended at sunset on the 31st. As the English text gives August 30th as the date of death, this means that he passed away between sunset and midnight of that day.
