I would appreciate a translation of line 203 (Blume Berger). It appears that she passed away in Dec 1876. What is the significance of the line starting with 108 in the last column? The mother's name is written as Sali but I knew her name to be Cima or Cili. Thank you very much.

Hello Ken,

Names can be very interesting. Sometimes, parents give you a name at birth, and as time goes by, somehow one then goes by or is known by another more personally chosen one.

Actually, the name of Blume's mother was Sali, as recorded on her/(Blume's) Hungarian birth record. This is more than likely the Hungarian secular name chosen for her. I think that Cima and Cili/Tzili are Yiddish names, and these may have been more to her and her family and friends' liking for her personal identity and everyday usage.
