Our dear father and my dear husband

AVRAHAM son of Reb Yaakov

He passed away 13 Cheshvan 5696

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

The 13th of Chesvan, 5696, began at sunset on November 8th, 1935, and ended at sunset on the 9th. As the secular date on the stone is the 8th, this means that he passed away between sunset and midnight of that day.
