'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

Yitzchak Aharon = Isaac Aaron in English. Of course, this does not necessarily mean that this was her father's secular name.

The 28th of Tevet, 5696, began at sunset on January 22nd, 1936, and ended at sunset on the 23rd.

The 26th of Av, 5706, began at sunset on August 22nd, 1946, and ended at sunset on the 23rd.
