July 21st 1909
The administrators of the local provincial lunatic asylum declared that Moritz Maschke, 48 years old, Jew, resident of Graudenz, born in Preussisch-Stargard, having been married to Marta (Rosenberg), resident of Graudenz, son of the deceased merchant Salomon Maschke and his deceased wife Selinde (unknown maiden name), both parents most recently having resided at [his place of birth], died in Neustadt at the provincial lunatic asylum on July 20th 1909 at 1:45 pm.

Deduce from his familyname Mascke that the man drank is far fetched. Official documents do not show such suppositions and fantasies.The man called Maschke.
