'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

Jacob and his father were Levites. This is a designation that traces back, son to father, to Levi, one of the 12 sons of Jacob. Levites had special recognition -- and special functions -- in the temples of old and the synagogues of today. One of these functions is to wash the hands of the Cohanim (plural of Cohen, = priests) before the Cohanim bless the congregation. This function is alluded to by the image of the pitcher at the top.

Elyakum Getzil.

There are two distinct, albeit very similar Hebrew names:

Elyakim - which means the Lord shall raise, or uplift

Elyakum - which means the Lord shall rise.

This stone has Elyakum written on it.
