7/28/2021 12:13 PM	Miriam Sara, daughter of Reb Yosef. Died 26 Iyar, 5740 May her soul be bound in the bounds of life. (Reb is the Yiddish equivalent of Mr.)

7/28/2021 4:19 PM	Hello Susan, Her father's name is inscribed as "Reb" Yosef. The word "Reb" is used as a title of respect preceding the given name of a Jewish male. His is a single given name. For clarification, there is no surname inscribed in Hebrew on the stone. While people do use the word "Mr" as the translation for "Reb", it leaves room for misunderstanding. For clarification, there is no surname inscribed in Hebrew on the tombstone. "Reb" is a modifying description of the given name(s) only, and it has absolutely no relationship to any surname. Jo
