Certificate

by means of which it is certified that the act of birth of Chana Steiner, a widow of Izaak Steiner, the daughter of Berl and Pesa Mehler, allegedly born in 1872 in Horodenka, is not recorded in the books of births of this registration district. According to the census book relating to the Town of Horodenka, {entry} house no. 1588, Chana Steiner was born in the year 1872, in Horodenka. The reason why the above-mentioned person was not recorded in the book of births was apparently the negligence of the parents or the inaccuracy in maintaining the register in these times.

Horodenka, the 3rd day of January 1929.
