This is the testimony (1st page) of someone who lived in Budapest during the Nazi occupation. I would appreciate a translation of both pages.

7/25/2021 4:57 PM After breaking off my schooling, I helped in my parents' bookstore. In Buda, Krisztinaváros, district I, at Mészáros street 10. As a consequence of the Jewish laws, they took away his business license and closed his store. They conscripted my father at age 62 and my two older brothers for labor service. Our standard of living, seeing how we were left without work and income, sank greatly, with all of the consequences of that.
After the German occupation, we were required to display the yellow star, we had to leave our residence, and they herded us into the starred house at Rózsa street 59. From there we were able to escape, using false papers, to the Red Cross safehouse at Pozsonyi road 16. We were unable to stay there long after Szálasi came to power, after my father came home

Iskolai tanulmányaim megszakitása után szüleim könyv üzletében segitettem. Budán Krisztina város I. ker.
