Category: Translation - Tombstone Approval Date: 7/25/2021 12:48 PM Family Surname: Koenig Country: Austria Date of Image: 7/21/21	Click the picture to enlarge	I would like a translation of my ancestors tombstone. Just trying to solve another mystery in my ancestry. Hoping that this is the Max Koenig that is the father of Nathan Koenig, who remained in Connecticut despite the dad moving back to New York in the 1920's. I have also ordered his death record and hopefully that will also help solve the mystery. Max was married to Anna/Hannah maiden name Horowitz who died in 1948. Both are buried in Riverside Cemetery, but I could only get his photo because the condition of her stone was not great.

7/25/2021 1:29 PM	MICHAEL EPHRAYIM son of Reb Yosef He passed away 3 Sivan 5713 May his soul be bound up in the bond of life. ============================================ Note that 'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi. There is no other information on this stone. If you can get a photo of his wife's stone, even if in bad condition, there might be some readable details on it.
