Could someone please translate the Hebrew on my great great grandmother's tombstone?

Here lies

the woman, greatest among women,

a chief among the ladies.

Her integrity and her charity are without number.

Mrs. RIVKAH daughter of Reb Eliyahu the Cohen.

She passed away 3 Menachem Av 5684

At the age of 77 years

May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.

Your great-great-grandmother must have been an exceptional woman. I have not see these particular phrases of praise on any other tombstones.

'Reb' is an honorific; her father was not a rabbi. He was, however, a Cohen, member of the priestly tribe that traces back, son to father, to Aaron the first priest; he was Moses' brother.

The month of Menachem Av also has the shorter name of Av. As today (Sunday) is the 9th of Av (a Jewish fast day and day of mourning), her Jahrzeit -- anniversary of the date of her death -- was 6 days ago.

The 3rd of Menachem Av of the year 5684 began at sunset on August 2nd, 1924, and ended at sunset on the 3rd.
