a dear young man (unmarried), God fearing

The deceased is called a "bachur" which, as the first helper indicated, meant that he had never married.

However, he was not a young man when he died.

The stone reads:

Here is interred

the elderly "bachur", G-d fearing, the honored

AVRAHAM GANS.

This is followed by a line of praise: All of his days he walked a blameless path.

This is followed by THREE more lines of text. They would likely include the Hebrew date of death, and possibly more words of praise. At the end of the second line I can make out the phrase "with a good name", which means that he had a good reputation throughout his life. The third line, which is mostly hidden from view, seems to begin with the words "he passed away". You can see three or four characters all the way at the bottom right, partly obscured by a leaf. If you have someone who can go back to the cemetery and remove the soil and leaves all the way at the bottom and take another photo, more details might be revealed. Also, some of the previous lines might possibly be brought to light by using one of the various techniques for reading what appears to be faded text, such as covering the text with very thin aluminum foil and rubbing over it with a damp sponge, and then taking a photo.
