Szatmár the town was otherwise known as Szatmár-Németi; it is now Satu Mare in Romania.

Mátyfalva was in Ugocsa county; it's now Matiieve in Ukraine. Dvorzsák's gazetteer says the Jewish congregation was in Nagy-Szőllős (Vynohradiv, Ukraine).
