6/23/2021 2:35 PM	Mrs. MALKAH daughter of Reb Layba She passed away 21 Shvat 5740 May her soul be bound up in the bond of life. ================================================ Her father's name is given as "Layba". I have never seen this particular spelling, but it is probably a form of the Yiddish name "Layb", which means lion. Someone with this name may have had a corresponding secular name of Leo or Leopold or Leonard or something similar. (I say "may have" because there are no specific "rules" for matching the Jewish and secular names. Note that 'Reb' is an honorific and does not mean rabbi
