Perhaps the English text means to say this letter was enclosed to a description of a trip.

Nothing about a trip in the letter.
Addressed to dear Khava and Moshe

Aplogies for writing belatedly, discussion of bank loan they can be given and what they'll pay for it, warm regards to everyone.

Rokhke [? possibly Rachel's nickname] told me she wrote you a month ago and had no response. So I'm writing you directly. I disussed with the bank a loan of 2000 or 3000 dollars to be returned in the duration of 2 or 3 years. That is, you will have to pay $500 every six months. $3000 for 3 years will cost $360.
