This tombstone is in the Gemelis Chesed Burial Society at Mount Zion Cemetery in Maspeth, Queens. I am particularly interested in the name lines (2 lines) and the date of death although if someone is able to translate the entire inscription, I would appreciate it.

Language is Hebrew.

The symbol at the top indicates that he was a Cohen, member of the priestly tribe tracing back, son to father, to Aaron, Moses' brother. The hands are in position to give the priestly benediction.

A man fearing of G-d, in his deeds he was flawless.

In his heart he had compassion for the poor all of his days.

He supported those who learned Torah, from his pockets [literally, from his trousers]

On the eve of the Holy Sabbath of the [weekly Torah] portion Vayechi, he was gathered to his people.

On the 156th of Tevet, 5668 he went to his world.

YESHAYA TZVI son of Yehuda the Cohen, may he rest in peace,

STARCH [possibly STORCH]

May G-d bind up his soul in the bond of life.

May he rest in peace on his resting place,

until the time when the Creator will send the dew of his revival.

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

The date of his death, 15 Tevet 5668, began at sunset on December 19th, 1907, and ended at sunset on the 20th. This was a Friday, the eve of the Sabbath. Each Sabbath a different portion of the Torah is read in the synagogue. It is relatively uncommon to mention the name of the Torah portion. In this instance, they might have decided to include it because its name, Vayechi, translates to "and he lived".
