The economic situation is even worse than the political.
In these conditions I couldn't not [look's like a double negative in the original] come to a decision to travel to America it's a final decision but not as you advised me to come with the whole family that would cost to much and since my --- is small and I don't want to ---- [? bring? cause?] too great expenses so I decided to travel alone. My family is provided for for a few months and later [so] I hope I will support their coming
