36. It came to pass on the fifth day of July in the year of eighteen thirty-nine, at the hour of seven in the morning, in Piotrkow. Appeared personally Szaul Horowicz, twenty-nine years of age, living off his own funds, residing in Piotrkow, companioned by witnesses Wulf {illegible}, a private writer, fifty-eight years of age, and Josek Jakubowicz, a hospital worker, forty-eight years of age, both from Piotrkow, and presented to us a child of the male sex, born on the twenty-eighth day of June of the current year, at the hour of four in the afternoon, in Piotrkow, from his spouse Ester Rajzel, twenty-five years of age, to whom the name will be given Herszel. This act was read aloud to the appearer and the witnesses and subsequently signed by all of them.
