These are four pictures of a funeral probably in Makow probably after the war. Translation of the written captions would be appreciated. The other four pictures follow in another image.

The response I received said picture #3 shows the "old synagogue" - since the synagogue was destroyed during WWII, am I wrong that this funeral took place after the war?

Before making that assumption about the date, you should know that the word used to describe the building, in Yiddish is not actually "synagogue" ["beyt knesset"] but rather "beyt midrash". Both are actually Hebrew terms. A "beyt midrash" is where people studied. A place that may have been dedicated to a Yeshiva. There are synagogues, or places of prayer in a beyt midrash of course.
I suggest you check if Makow had a "beyt midrash" - a building distinct from the synagogue. Probably pronounced "beys midresh" - the Ashkenazi way of pronouncing Hebrew words).
