Sochocin
No. 2
It came to pass in the settlement of Sochocin on the 17th/29th of October 1876 at 9:00 AM that there appeared [before us] in person Józef Gotfryd, innkeeper, age 61, and Szmul Kucioł, synagogue sexton, age 64, residents of the settlement of Sochocin, and stated that, on the previous day of the current month and year at 9:00 PM, there died in the settlement of Sochocin Chana Godfryd [sic], age 82, born in the village of Wójty Zamoście, daughter of the late Berek & Lea Gilbert, leaving behind her three sons, Józef, Bendet and Szaja. Following eyewitness confirmation of the passing of Chana Godfryd, this document was read out to the assembled and duly signed by us and by those present.
