Sochocin No. 4

It came to pass in the settlement of Sochocin on December 12th/24th 1876 at 8:00 AM that there appeared [before us] in person the Jew Fiszel Brutman, age 53, and Moszek Berensztajn, age 38, both laborers residing in the settlement of Sochocin, and informed us that, on the previous day of the current month and year at 2:00 PM, there died in the settlement of Sochocin Fajga Zausznica, age one half year, born in the settlement of Sochocin, daughter of Mortko Gersz & Bina (née Berensztejn), the couple Zausznica, leaving behind her parents. After eyewitness verification of the passing of Fajga Zausznica, this document was read out to those present and signed by me alone, as those present are illiterate.
