Please help with Yiddish Translation. This is on the back of a late 19th Century photo. Help with any words is much appreciated. Thank you.

This is actually Hebrew, not Yiddish. Some letters are faded, but here is my best reading.

Who knows if I will ever again be on [word is smudged].

It is hard to say goodbye.

I agree with the most of the response above, I would just add that the first like says, "Mother, may her memory be a blessing," so it is clear the photo is a picture of the writer's mother.

"who knows if I will ever again be at her grave" (able to visit her grave.
