Before me, Jan Martynowicz, an Imperial and Royal Notary, holding my office in Rozwadow, personally appeared Abraham Schmidt, an industrialist from Rzeczyca Dluga, and Simche Gold, owner of the realty in Dabrowa Rzeczycka and a lessee of propination, both known to me personally, and concluded the following agreement:

I. Abraham Schmidt owns two cows in Dabrowa Rzeczycka, one of which is about ten years old and has a red and white coat, while the other is about five years old and brown. He temporarily keeps these cows at Leon Kisielewski’s. Abraham Schmidt hereby entrusts these two cows to Simche Gold to provide for them throughout the summer, that is, throughout the summer grazing period, for three months starting from the first of July of the current year, and Simche Gold accepts these two cows. Being a good farmer, he commits to caring for them. Since these cows are milk cows, Simche Gold will draw milk from them, while Abraham Schmidt will not pay any compensation for this summer grazing period. On the first of October of the current year, Abraham Schmidt will collect these two cows, and if Simche Gold does not want to hand them over, he will pay by way of a contractual penalty the sum of 20 zlotys, under pain of enforcement.
