This was written on the back of my grandmother's internal passport (which was issued in 1911). She lived in Kobryn but apparently traveled to Warsaw to work for an uncle. I believe this document contains some Russian text as well as text written in at least one other language. I am hoping someone can tell me in what language(s) the text is written and translate as much as possible into English. The hand writing is quite beautiful!

11/2/2026 2:37 AM The text is all in Russian. The second note says that the passport was shown in Warsaw in October 1912.
11/2/2026 9:28 AM The text is in Russian. Top part and bottom part are written by two different building managers at two different addresses in what looks like Warsaw, Poland, according to what is written on stamps. Top is Kozhannaya Street, bottom is Granichnaya Street, both located within the same area. Top is from 1911, bottom is from 1912.
Russians have a habit of registering people at their residential addresses and making people keep the traceable record like a passport. It is called "propiska", which literally means written record of being attached to the address.
It looks to me that the person moved and was recorded by those managers at those locations as residents.
