Category: Translation - German Approval Date: 10/11/2026 2:04 PM Family Surname: Ettinger Country: Ukraine Town: Lviv/Lemberg Date of Image: 1796-1850	Click the picture to enlarge	German Kurrent reading: Ettinger family books 1256 and 298, Lviv Please help transcribe and translate the names, relationships and transfer notes in these Lviv/Lemberg Jewish community family-book entries, especially the lower group on family 1256 and the corresponding entries on family 298. Does either page explicitly state a relationship between Moises/Moses Ettinger in family 1256 and Lipe or Brine Ettinger in family 298? Please distinguish clear readings from uncertain ones. I am seeking an independent reading, not confirmation of a proposed parentage. Source: TsDIAL 701/2/27, family 1256, FamilySearch DGS 7804170, image 801; and TsDIAL 701/2/24, family 298, DGS 7804171, image 800. These are rolling community/tax records catalogued 1796-1850. Thank you.
