Translation into English. This is page 1 of a two page letter from 1959 but identical paper and very similar handwriting as the 1951 letter also uploaded here above

Dear and beloved brother Kalman!
I got your letter as well as the medicines, for which I thank you very much. I didn't answer you straight away, because I hadn't taken the medicines.
Although I understand that it's not easy for you to help me, because you are, as you write, aged and you don't have strength to work, nevertheless I don't have a choice and must turn to you, that you should send me at least 4 pounds a month, because I'm seriously ill and I can't go to work. If God helps me and I am able to work, then I will write to you myself that you shouldn't send me any more.
If you can't help me yourself, you could turn to the Lublin Landsmanschaft, that they should help me, because "the waters have come up to my neck."
Money can be sent through the following institution:
Fergata Travel, etc.
There are in total 50 Jewish families living in Lublin today, and there is no possibility of them helping me.
