Translation. This is page 2 of letter from Jacob Cederbaum. I just discovered it today in a collection of old family photographs and letters that belonged to my mother.

the second time you went away, and you didn't say goodbye to me. I was in cheder, I still remember today how it bothered me.
I will remind you of something else, my dear brother, that you didn't like Dad. You never wanted to say "Tatte" {Dad}. Do you remember that, dear brother?
But we dear brothers didn't have to be so estranged. Only we two remained and we should have kept in contact, so that we should know about each other.
If you remember {here a few words are hidden in a fold} both went on a majówka {an excursion at the beginning of May}, and I fell into a swamp, with the hands and you pulled me out and dried me and Dad yelled at you for taking me along.
We went and you used to catch birds and hide them in the chicken room, and Pesel(?).
I remember how you used to play cards at Leah'le the milkmaid's, and Dad used to yell at you.
All this removes the pain from my heart that I don't hear from you.
