This is my great grandfather's birth certificate - Dawid Jonas Sokolow. I managed to decipher the names in the document, nothing else. Would appreciate a translation. As far as I know he was born in 1885. I don't know the exact date. Does the document state where each of his parents (Icek & Chaya-Sura)came from? Thanks a lot.

Состоялось в деревне Монколин *) 16 февраля 1887 года в 3 часа дня.
Явился лично Ицек Соколов, еврей, торговец, 21 год, в посаде Бодзанов живущий и в присутсвии Арона Брима, портного, 45 лет и Янкеля Копа, торговца,30 лет, живущих в посаде Бодзанов и предъявил нам младенца мужского пола, объявляя, что он родился в посаде Бодзанов 20 августа 1885 года в 10 часов утра от законной его жены Хаи Суры ,урождённой Сребрник, 23 лет. Младенцу этому даны имена Давид Ионас. Акт этот объявляющему и свидетелям прочитан и ими подписан. При этом отец заявил, что этот акт не записан своевременно по вине лиц содержащих книги гражданского состояния.

*) Это деревня Монколин (польск. Mąkolin) — она входила в гмину Бодзанов Плоцкого уезда Плоцкой губернии, всего в нескольких километрах от посадa Бодзанов.

Act No. 6. Bodzanov.

Took place in the village of Monkolin *) on February 16, 1887, at 3 p.m.

Itsek Sokolov, a Jew, a merchant, aged 21, who lived in the settlement of Bodzanov, appeared in person and, in the presence of Aron Brim, a tailor, aged 45, and Yankel Kop, a merchant, aged 30, both of whom lived in the settlement of Bodzanov, presented us with a male infant,
declaring that he was born in the settlement of Bodzanov on August 20, 1885, at 10 a.m., to his lawful wife, Haya Sura, née Srebnik, aged 22.

This infant was given the names David Ionas.

This act was read to the declarant and the witnesses and signed by them. At the same time, the father stated that this act was not recorded in a timely manner due to the fault of the persons responsible for maintaining the civil registry books.

*) This is the village of Monkolin (Polish: Mąkolin) — it was part of the Bodzanów commune in the Płock County of the Płock Governorate, just a few kilometers from the town of Bodzanów.
