This is a birth record from the Rumsiskes Jewish community metrical book (fond 1226, inv. 1, file 1327, pages 34v-35), obtained from the Lithuanian State Historical Archives. The closing note at the bottom of the page dates it to August 1867. I'm trying to confirm the father's given name in the second entry on the left page (the male birth, mohel Leizer Peker). My own reading comes out as "Vulf" (Wulf), but I expected it to read "Daniel" based on other family records - I may be misreading it. Could someone confirm: (1) the father's given name and patronymic, (2) the mother's given name and her home community, and (3) the child's given name? If the parallel Hebrew column on the facing page is legible, that would help resolve this too. Thank you!

Russian side: Father Vulf Doniel SHAFER son of Josel, townsman of Rumsiskes. (Vulf is smudged, as if in an attempt to erase or obscure it)

Дониель Иосилович Шафер Румшишского общества. Мать Баса из Панемуне Сын Вульф. Родился в Румшишки 6 августа. Обряд обрезания -13 августа.
P.S. В документе о рождении Альтера- имя отца Даниеля наверно не Юзелович, а Иозелович ( буквы «io» и «ю»- похожи по написанию).

P.S. In the birth certificate, Daniel’s father’s name is probably not Yuzelovich, but Iozelovich (the letters “io” and “ю” are similar in spelling).
