The righthand column deals with a tragic vent in my family, and was sent to a cousin in North America as a clipping. I would love to have a translation of this, my mother left it to me when she died and all the information I have is this clipping plus a letter in Yiddish (also submitted) responding to a cousin who sent it to him. Thank you so much for your help!!

Jewish family murdered in a village in Galicia
From Lemberg, reported to Haynt [name of a Yiddish newspaper]

A terrible murder of a Jewish family was carried out in the village of Kalno near Slavska /Slavsko

Late in the evening, murderers broke into the appartment a single Jewish family, Rothenberg and killed the whole Jewish family which consisted of 4 people: the 62 year old Rothenberg, his second wife aged 30 [it could be also be second wife of 30 years -- I don't know for sure which] 27 year old daughter and 15 year old son.
After commiting the crime the robbers threw the bodies in the rubish bin and set them on fire. After that they robbed the appartment and escaped.

Up to now they haven't been apprehended.

This horrible murder --- the whole neighborhood [? area?] a terrible ----
