Reb is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

Her father had a "double" name: Ari, which is Hebrew for lion, and Layb, which is Yiddish for lion. Some men with either/both of these Jewish names have a secular name related to lion, such as Leo, Leonard, Leon, etc.

I want to point out that the more common form of this double name is Aryeh [AHR-yay] Layb. the name Aryeh is spelled similarly to Ari, but has an additional letter (hey) at the end. This last letter is sometimes omitted and replaced with an apostrophe, but I do not see such an apostrophe here, unless it is very light. Even so, I suspect that the name was more likely to have been Aryeh rather than Ari.

There is a discrepancy between the religious and secular dates of death as given on the stone. I first want to mention that in giving the Hebrew date of death, the text reverses the two letters in the standard representation of the number 18; reversing these letters results in the word "Chai", meaning life. However, the 18th of Sivan, 5666, corresponds to June 10th/June 11th. The secular date on the stone is given as June 18th, which corresponds to the 25th or 26th of Sivan (depending upon whether the death occurred before or after sunset).
